Come as you are, the Gospel is for you.

We will endeavor to boast in Christ alone and live in humility, work hard to not judge others, to be welcoming to each other from all walks of life, to not become insular and self-focused, and to trust in God's timeframe for all things.

humility

26  Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.  27  But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.  28  God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are,  29  so that no one may boast before him.  30  It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.  31  Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” — 1 Cor. 1:26-31

Welcoming

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.  2  For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3  “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  4  How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?  5  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.— Matt. 7:1-5

Outward

14  How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  15  And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” [g] — Rom. 10:14-15

God's timeframe

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.
— Proverbs 16:9
